Standing Orders
Standing orders are the written rules of a local council. Standing orders are essential to regulate the proceedings of a meeting. A council may also usestanding orders to confirm or refer to various internal organisational and administrative arrangements. The standing orders of a council are not the same as the policies of a council but standing orders may refer to them
Financial Regulations
These regulations shall govern the conduct of the financial transactions of the Council and may only be amended or varied by resolution of the Council.

Vexatious requests Policy
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives the public a right of access to official information held by public bodies. Ruspidge & Soudley Parish Council, as a public body, is committed to ensuring transparency and accountability in its operations and functions and recognises that this can sometimes mean that the Parish Council must accept a certain level of disruption and inconvenience. However, in some circumstances a request, or its impact on the Parish Council, cannot be justified and this policy sets out the circumstances in which a request can be refused on the grounds that it is vexatious.
Publication Scheme
This publication scheme commits an authority to make information available to the public as part of its normal business activities.
Data Protection
This policy sets out the council's commitment to data protection, and your rights and obligations in relation to personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA).
IT Policy
This policy sets out how Ruspidge & Soudley Parish Council will use, manage, and protect its information technology (IT) systems and digital assets. It applies to all councillors, employees, volunteers, contractors, and anyone else authorised to access council systems and data.
